Description: |
The Pew-Stewart Scholars for Cancer Research Program supports assistant professors of outstanding promise in science relevant to the advancement of a cure for cancer.
The award provides $300,000 in flexible support—$75,000 per year for a four-year period.
In line with the Stewart Trust’s mission to invest in innovative, cutting-edge, basic cancer research that may accelerate and advance progress toward a cure for cancer, applications are invited from nominees conducting cancer research.

Masonic Cancer Center Review: A one page description of the concept, biosketch and a draft budget should be emailed to Elizabeth Fedie by 5:00pm Monday, June 3rd, 2019. The pre-application materials will be reviewed by the MCC director and appointed committee to determine designation of nominee no later than June 14th.
Once the Pew program office has received the name and contact information of the selected applicant, login information will be emailed directly to the selected applicant. The online application web site will open July 15, 2019 and the submission deadline is October 10, 2019.
Nominees will gain access to the secure application portal on July 15, 2019, which includes detailed instructions and an applicant guide.
