Description:
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is accepting applications for fiscal year (FY) 2021 for the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Institutional Research Training Grant. The purpose of this grant program is to train and provide support to postdoctoral health care professionals who are planning to pursue careers in biomedical and behavioral health research related to primary care. As the nation’s population grows and ages, the need for well-trained primary care researchers to study the complex array of issues facing the primary care workforce gains greater importance. The NRSA Institutional Research Training Grants
administered by HRSA are awarded to eligible institutions to develop or enhance postdoctoral research training opportunities for individuals who are planning to pursue careers in primary care research.
